Terms and Conditions
1.1 Unless credit facilities have been arranged in advance full payment should be received before the start of the hire. A non refundable Deposit Payment is due on confirmation of any tour.
1.2 Credit facilities – May be obtained from W L Sleigh Ltd. Companies must produce headed stationery with registered number, registered office address and ultimate parent company where applicable. Terms are strictly 14 days from date of invoice/date of hire.
1.3 Credit Cards – Payment is accepted by credit cards (Visa, Master Card and American Express). Full details must be supplied when the booking is made.
2. Cancellation Policy
2.1 Cancellation of a Tour within 2 week: NO REFUND.
2.2 Cancellation of a Transfer within 24 hours: NO REFUND.
2.3 Cancellation Policy for Additional Services (Accommodation, Ferries, Green fees etc) Due to the possible variety of services within a booking their individual T & Cs will vary.
2.4 There may be a charge for administering any cancellation or any changes after a final itinerary is agreed.
3. Chauffeur drive car hire
3.1 If a car requested is not available, a replacement car of superior quality will be provided.
3.2 Airport Transfers allow for Airport Parking and waiting time for up to 30 minutes. After that additional charges will occur.
3.3 A day hire means a total of 8 hours unless otherwise specified.
3.4 The “In Town” rate only applied to Edinburgh and Glasgow city centres.
3.5 Car hire is inclusive of chauffeur, mileage, petrol and local taxes.
3.6 Should an itinerary or travel requirements change, W L Sleigh Ltd reserve the right to adjust the price accordingly.
3.7 If a breakdown occurs during the period of hire, full recovery will be provided and a replacement vehicle will be supplied as soon as possible.
4. Missed Flights & Delays
4.1 It is the client’s responsibility to inform W L Sleigh Ltd of any change in arrival plans or flights.
4.2 If the company is asked to meet a flight and there is “No Show”, the price of the transfer will still be charged.
4.3 If a flight is delayed the chauffeur will honour the revised arrival time.
4.4 The company is not responsible for any delays due to circumstances beyond the company’s control (Road accidents, severe weather conditions, police requests, terrorism etc).
5. Client Property
5.1 The client acknowledges that property placed within a W L Sleigh Ltd vehicle is there at their own risk and that W L Sleigh Ltd or the individual chauffeur has no responsibility for such property. Any luggage should be insured direct with a suitable insurer against all risks of loss or damage.
6. Third Party
6.1 If a client is booking our services for a third party, it is their responsibility to make sure that the third party has read and understood W L Sleigh Ltd’s terms and conditions.
7.1 Government taxes (VAT 20%) and other levies will be charged as required by current legislation.
8.1 Whilst every effort has been made to ensure that the information contained in this document is correct at the time of printing, W L Sleigh Ltd regrets that they cannot accept liability for any errors or changes that may occur after publication.
